Qualifications And Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- At least one year of experience in school settings preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and hearing evaluations for students across a range of grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that address students’ unique goals
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support in classroom and small-group settings
- Address a spectrum of communication disorders, tailoring interventions for articulation, fluency, voice, and social language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive service delivery and progress monitoring
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and reports in a timely and professional manner
